Last Chance Workout

For those of you who don't watch the "Biggest Loser", you are missing out!  This week my favorite take home points were based around childhood obesity and how our lifestyle choices affect our youth.  (More on this topic later.)  After losing a challenge, a team of contestants were forced to sit in a room with T.V., video games  computers, sofas, recliners, and lots and lots of junk food.  They had to sit there for FOUR AND A HALF HOURS!  Why?  Because this is the average amount of time our children do this.... A DAY.  This statistic has to change.  What lifestyle changes would you like to see made to make an impact on the next generation??


And what you have all been waiting for... The Last Chance Workout.  I tried this for myself last night and loved it.  What do you thing?  Fun or Torture?  
Using a deck of cards, assign an exercise for each suit. 
 Hearts - Squats        Spades - Burpees        Clubs - Pushups        Diamonds - Thrusters 
(add a heavy object to be held over your head - chair, gallon of water...)

Every time you flip a card over, you have to do what it says.  ie: 4 of clubs = 4 Pushups
Every face card is worth 10 reps and the Ace is worth 11.
And if you hit the joker?  That's 5 reps of each!
